  • Australia Hearing - Australian Hearing is one of the largest hearing service providers in the world with a reputation for innovation and world-leading practices. It is a statutory authority constituted under the Australian Hearing Services Act 1991 and was established in 1947 to provide services to veterans who had suffered hearing damage during WWII, and also to assist children whose hearing was affected by a series of rubella epidemics.
  • Start ASL - this site offers free online American sign language. If you want to communicate with a deaf person or you want to understand and gain information about hearing loss then this site is perfect for you.
  • Auslan Signbank - is a language resources site for Auslan (Australian Sign Language). In this site you will find a dictionary, a special medical and health dictionary, grammar examples on video, videos of deaf people using Auslan naturally, information on the deaf community in Australia and links to Auslan classes
  • Baby Signs - is a method of using natural and simple signs with babies as a means of early communication before they can talk. They offer workshop, classes and training. You can also purchase your starter kit in their website, you can also get free charts and watch video series.
  • British Sign Language Resources - offers online British sign language courses. It is interactive and it gives you the flexibility to study whenever or wherever you are. It is affordable, for 15 pounds you get 1 year of unlimited access to the entire course, assessments, and forums.
  • Victoria Deaf Society - a non-profit organisation, was established in 1884 and is the primary source of reference, referral, advice and support for deaf adults in Victoria. Vicdeaf works collaboratively with a variety of mental health, legal and employment providers, welfare agencies and government departments.
